What we can tell you today
Data handling principles
The BitGuard does not — and will never — have the technical ability to move your funds. All wallet addresses you add are processed in read-only mode. CEX API keys are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and only with read-only permissions enforced.
What we collect
- Email address (required for account)
- Wallet addresses you choose to add (public on-chain identifiers)
- CEX API keys (encrypted, read-only)
- Aggregated usage analytics (no personal profiling)
What we don't collect
- Private keys or seed phrases (we have no way to access them)
- Your physical location (no GPS permissions)
- Your contacts or address book
- Identity documents (no KYC for the Free tier)
Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Account deletion is available directly from Settings → Delete account in the app — and removes all your data from our systems within 7 days.
